Born and brought up in the Okanagan Valley, Bowering has lived here and there and everywhere but currently resides in Vancouver. He is the author of more than 90 books. His most recent fiction is the short story collection The Box (New Star Books, 2009) and the poetry collection My Darling Nellie Grey (Talonbooks, 2010).
