In a world of "Double Doubles", sugar-laced Ventis and concentrated coffee capsules we feel the the real art of coffee has been all but lost in this modern age. At the Streaming Cafe we want to do our part in not only providing the best coffee available, but also educating our customers on the exciting and dynamic practice that seems to get swallowed up by the mega-coffee chains. Our baristas are constantly developing their technique and regularly get advanced training from our roasters at Oughtred Coffee & Tea. We brew all of our drinks with only the freshest beans that are roasted on Friday and end up in your cup on Wednesday - a mere 4 days after roasting! But it doesn't stop there, we insist on bringing our customers the best milk products, sodas and even craft beer available (Stanley Park Brewery is Canada's first sustainable brewery) Simply put, the Streaming Cafe is committed to bringing you the best coffee at the best price. We believe that a great coffee shouldn't only be for those who can "afford it".

From art shows and open mics to political forums and high-tech get togethers. The Cafe is always striving to meet the needs of our customers by bringing in low-fat baked goods, craft beers on tap and gluten free options.
