The Paper Beat Scissors live show is an intense and intimate experience – solo finger-picked laments are paired with live loops and a haunting voice that slips into the music, then darts back out to pull the listener in. January 2012 sees a European tour for Paper Beat Scissors (relocated-Brit Tim Crabtree), hot on the heels of completing recording of the debut album, produced by Mike Feuerstack (Snailhouse and Bell Orchestre) and mixed by Arcade Fire's Jeremy Gara.The last three years have seen national Canadian and European tours, national radio play on CBC and BBC for the debut EP 'Flicker', and videos made by Chris Tootell (Tim Burton's Corpse Bride) and Mitch Fillion (Southern Souls, la Blogotheque) for the Halifax-based act. Tim is also a regular collaborator with Tanya Davis, appears on her latest album Clocks and Hearts Keep Going, and produced the music for her viral video 'How to be Alone', (3.5 million views on youtube).
